Program Overview:
The National Diploma (ND) in Nautical Science at ANIMT equips students with the foundational skills required for careers as deck cadets and navigation officers. The program covers essential areas including marine navigation, ship stability, meteorology, maritime communication, and seamanship. Students receive both classroom instruction and practical exposure to prepare them for life at sea and further maritime certifications.

Admission Requirements:

• Five (5) O'Level credits including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other science-related subjects (e.g., Geography, Chemistry) obtained at not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent).

• Minimum JAMB UTME score as prescribed by JAMB for polytechnics/institutes.

• Successful completion of the institute’s screening/interview process.

ND: 2 years

ND: ₦150,000 per session
